Church day! It is hot out again today. We are breaking records for the high temperatures! Yesterday and today were both in the upper 90s and we have a couple more days to come of the hot weather. The forecast is for rain on Tuesday I think and a cool down. That will be nice.
Church was good again today. Pastor preached on the difference between “unity” and “doctrine”. First and foremost is doctrine! Unity should come after doctrine. There aren’t many churches that don’t have problems with the unity issue. In Sunday School someone said that even two people will have disagreements so a whole church will have disagreements of sorts, probably all the time.
We didn’t do much today. I thought about stopping for something for lunch but I didn’t. We went back into town and bought some bread and had sandwiches for lunch. Linda has a pork loin that has cooked all night and she is going to make BBQ out of it. Smells good!
No church tonight so it is just going to be a relaxing day….Night Y’all…
