Another cold night!! I disconnected the water again just in case. Good thing I did it got cold. I would insulate the hose but we probably won’t be here to long and it is going to warm up…sometime!
Today is the day for the Senior get together at West Union Baptist Church. We are going to pick up Virgie on the way over. Rick is still recuperating from his knee surgery. I imagine that will take awhile. We told Virgie we would pick her up about 10:45AM but we were a little late, not bad but a few minutes. She was ready all she needed was her jacket. We made it to the church before it started and had plenty of time to get in and sat down or is it set down. What ever,,, we parked it!
They put on a great dinner and a very nice short program. It was really nice.
Here is our entertainment…
She really wasn’t the entertainment even though she was very entertaining. There was also a little boy there about the same age. We thought they were twins but they weren’t even related.
Back to the dinner, they had chicken, and all kinds of salads and the deserts were out of this world!! Excellent!! Good job ladies!!
We took Virgie back to the home and stayed there for awhile and visited. Linda and I were both tired and we figured we better get back home, let Sparky out and take a nap. Sparky needed to run for awhile first so I walked him all the way around the park then he wanted to play. He played for at least an hour, running around like a crazy dog. He is so cute when he runs, his ears are laid back and his legs go a mile a minute. He finally got tired out and we went in and took a little nap.
The evening was pretty much relaxing. Watched a couple specials on TV, actually cartoons, Shrek and another one, they were cute. We also watched a couple of our regulars then I unhooked the water again before going to bed. Supposed to be another hard freeze tonight. So, Night Y’all…
