Friday June 4th 2010

This morning is another sunny and warm start to a beautiful day.  Did laundry and got ready to see David and Marian off.  They left here about 11AM I think.Things aren’t going very well for them.  They needed to stop at the bank to cash their check and couldn’t do it until after 2PM so they came back here and visited until time. We followed them over to K-Mart to help them to the bank because they couldn’t get their camper in and out of the bank.  Went to lunch at Subway and walked around K-Mart for awhile until it was time to go to the bank.

They are ready to get on the road and head for Iowa.  They have a Family reunion to go to this weekend.

There was a car wash going on at K-Mart and our car was dirty. It was a give whatever you want for a kid’s softball team.  They did an excellent job.  I think the guy with the pressure washer probably did most of the work.

Stopped at this lookout on the way back home.  Doesn’t really look as nice as I remembered from a couple years ago.

This is “Flower Child” and her husband “Flower Guy”.  They take care of all the plants and mowing at the park.  I’ve done some weed eating and will probably do more tomorrow.

The purty flowers above are weeds I think??

“Flower Child” actually her name is Karen, said these beautiful orange flowers are actually orange milk weed.

This shot is a little farther away, they look a lot nicer close up. I noticed them along the golf cart path and thought I needed to take a picture of them.  They will probably get prettier in a few days.

We will probably take it easy tonight, work tomorrow don’tcha know??  Goodnight….Ya’ll…..
