Today is Christmas Eve Day! We don’t have a lot planned for today but this afternoon we are going to go with Jack and Mary to the First Baptist Church of Mission for the Candle Light Service. They really like the church and we want to check it out.
We aren’t going to do to much today, walk Sparky a few times to get us some exercise. It is still rainy, cold and windy, not a real good day to do much of anything.

This isn’t a formal church as you can tell by the Pastor’s Batman T Shirt! The service was very nice, to the point and I think we are going to like the church. We will probably drive down to Tip O Texas to see Don a few times but the other times we will go here.
The First Baptist Church won’t have services tomorrow so that worked out well. We will head down to see Don at the Tip O Texas campground.
After the service here they had cake and cookies. I probably should have gotten a picture of the lady that baked the cake. I was a very nice cake. I guess she is quite the baker and cook! We had a good time with Jack and Mary, and at the church. Jack and Mary live here year around but are originally from Kewanee IL, not far from our home towns, Rock Falls and Dixon.
Linda started fixing the pretzel salad for tomorrow after we got home. Good thing she did, it took awhile. Not much going on tonight so guess I will sign off…Night Y’all….
