Guess what??? It’s still raining!! It has rained steady and pretty hard all night! Have to load the car, rain or shine. Got wet for sure. Took awhile to get loaded but we managed. We knew we would forget some things but that is part of packing I guess. I know we packed a lot more than we needed but what we don’t use we will take to Mississippi with us.
We took Sparky in to the Vet clinic about 9:30AM and then went to the pharmacy to check on Linda’s two prescriptions. They looked them up and they were called in but she had just gotten them and couldn’t get anymore until later in the month so they will have to send them to Texas. That was a waste of time!
We got on the road about 10:10AM and had to keep it pretty warm in the car because we were kind of damp and cold. After about two hours the rain started turning to snow. The temperature dropped from 35 down to 28 before we got to Springfield. We got to Branson about 4PM after getting lost once in Springfield. No big deal. We got checked in and went to our room and turned the heat up. Also took a couple of pictures of the room.
The place is really nice. I’m not into this kind of place but guess we will suffer through it…
Castle is on now so I have to say Night Y’all…
