This is the last day of October and we are almost home!!! We had a good nights sleep and ready to get on the road. The Days Inn here in Pryor was comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. Now to find a place to go to church. This is the bad part about traveling on Sunday, lots of churches but we don’t know where they are or what time we need to be there. We stopped at a couple of churches but the timing was way off. When we got on the interstate (I-44) there were no churches and no advertisements for churches that we saw so we kept on traveling down the road.
We actually had a nice drive to Branson and we called Daniel and Rachel to see when or if they were working. We went on into Branson and checked in at our motel then decided to head on over to CRC to see who we could see. First person we saw was Roger!! He turned 50 yesterday!! Happy Birthday Roger!! Ken was working so we saw him then went in the office and saw Jenny and on our way out of the office we saw Charlie and Charlene, so we talked to them for a while. Heidi and her daughter were coming over to the store so we got to visit with them for awhile. This is turning out pretty good. We weren’t sure who we would get to see.
We went into the campground to see Daniel and Rachel. Had a great visit with them and then we were going to go see Nick, Sherry and Brianne. I didn’t think to take pictures until we were ready to leave so I got a picture of Nick, Sherry and Brianne…
Brianne is scared in this picture, there are a lot of bees flying around and she doesn’t like bees. They say she is scared of most everything except snakes???? That is strange! Anyway, we got to visit with them and get caught up on the happenings. They still have a couple weeks left then I think they are heading back to Texas.
After leaving CRC we headed back towards the motel but thought we would try to stop and see James and Janice. We weren’t sure where they were parked at but I just happened to see their camper so we stopped and visited for quite awhile then went to church with them and out for pizza afterward. (Windows Live Writer is not working well)…
Had a great evening. They are really happy with their jobs and James has gotten good reports from his Dr so they are very happy…
Got back to the motel and relaxed, have to be ready for the last leg of the trip tomorrow. It is not a long drive but we have traveled it often and it gets kind of boring. Well, now to see if I can post this to the blog.
