Today is the day!!  We are going to get on the road…

We loaded up the camper and I put the car on the dolly and tied it down pretty good!  Today is beautiful, very cool and windy.  We will have to drive into the wind today.  Better than ice or snow though.

 

We stopped in Mountain View MO for lunch at a BBQ place.  Was pretty nice.  Our waitress really didn’t want her picture taken but she does pose very well,  She is photogenic.

This is the place.  It is in a Wal Mart parking lot.  Food was pretty good.

Looks happy doesn’t she!!!  We both got burgers, mine was in a wrap and they were very tasty.  They had a different sauce on them that was kind of sweet and tangy.  I had hush puppies with mine.

We made it to Branson and Compton Ridge about 4PM.  Got checked in and they took us to our spot.  David helped me get the car off the dolly and get set up.  It is a nice park, at least what we have seen so far.  We visited for awhile and I checked out all the restrooms and laundry.  They aren’t to bad either.  After visiting we decided to go out for a sandwich and go to Wal-Mart for a few odds and ends.  We are going to get up early and go for breakfast then go to church.  Hopefully it will work out that way.. Sleep well yall….
