Very cool this morning, the wind is blowing out of the North at a pretty good speed and makes it really cool.
We don’t use the furnace so I baked some cookies this morning and it really warmed it up in here. I needed some cookies, they are the macadamia nut cookies but I’m disappointed in them, they taste kind of funny for some reason, not bad, but kind of not real good.
It did warm up pretty good today, not real warm but enough that a sweater worked out pretty good, tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. This is Winter here in the Valley and it changes quite often and changes pretty fast sometimes.
Linda had fixed some pork the other day and we had some for lunch with mashed potatoes and cream style corn. We finished off the desert Linda made and it didn’t taste right either, not sweet enough or something.
Got a picture of a woodpecker just below the palm fronds. I think he is a resident here.
I messed around with the computer today and Linda went over to Cheryl’s to wrap some rocks, I will have to put a picture in tomorrow of some of her art work!
Not much going on today, going to take it easy. Don’t want to go to the store because it will be packed the day after Christmas.
We watch a show on TV called “Amish Mafia”. That was very interesting, didn’t know that they had a mafia in Amish communities!
