We made it back home around 12:30PM. Not a long drive and not a real bad drive. I think that it is going to get warm, around 90 plus.
We unloaded the car and tried to put a few things away but we really have a pile of stuff to put away.
After putting stuff away and getting the car unloaded I decided to mow the lawn because it had been three weeks and even though it had been very dry and hot the weeds really flourished. Our lawn looks like the place has been abandoned and surprisingly the neighbors house looks the same way. There is a service that is supposed to take care of that lawn but it looks a lot worse than ours!
We picked up Sparky earlier and he is really glad to be home. I guess three weeks in the kennel was about enough. Even when we picked him up he was anxious to get out of there.

Believe it or not I took this picture. Sparky really likes the chair and laying on someone’s lap, doesn’t really matter whose.
We relaxed the rest of the day and tried to get caught up on the energy we used unpacking the car!
