Guess what???? This is actually Sunday….I think I will get this done early.
Got up pretty early to get ready for church and Linda’s back hurt so bad this morning she couldn’t hardly get up. Got her a little something to eat and then she took some Aleve or something like that.
I went to church, Bren was staying late for a class and I wanted to stop at the store to pick up a few things. I decided to try the 99cent store here to see what they had before going to Von’s. Von’s is very expensive. They have fresh vegetables there and I couldn’t hardly believe the prices! Portabella mushrooms were 99 cents for two, broccoli, celery, zucchini, a nice bunch of asparagus, red and yellow bell peppers were 3 for 99 cents! I thought that a stir fry would work quite nicely for lunch. Bought some chow mien noodles to go with them. I thought it was pretty good.

Dee came over for a couple hours before going to pick up Gianna at the ranch. Had a great visit. Dee bought a new Ipad that I am really curious about. After Dee left Kim stopped by and we had to figure something to fix for supper. Bren said she had a recipe for Garlic Chicken and we thought that would be great. She had a box of instant mashed potatoes that really tasted good. Also had the rest of the asparagus and she had some frozen. Dinner turned out pretty good. Had a real nice visit with Kim. Jacob is coming home next weekend and Linda is going to fix a humungous pot of her famous “pork burritos” for the get together next Saturday.
OK last but not least the “goodnight kiss” from Jake…
