Another very nice day!  We decided to take a look around to see if we could find a new refrigerator.  The first place we stopped was a place called Puente's Appliances. We saw a couple of refrigerators that look quite nice and they were actually used ones.  The one we really liked was already sold and the next one looks exactly like the one we have and the price is right, $225 delivered!  We also checked some other furniture stores and they were all close to double the price, but they were new.

We spent around three hours driving around and finally stopped back and bought the used one, they will deliver it tomorrow around 11AM.  Sounds good to me.

Louise next door showed me the bloom on one of her plants, I think I posted one before but this was really neat.  They are huge compared to the plant…

We didn’t do a lot the rest of the day, I started moving some of the the  stuff on top of the fridge getting ready to move it outside.  I asked the neighbors if they would help me move the fridge into the house, I’m sure it isn’t heavy but  I know I can’t do it myself.

Watching TV tonight the channel I was watching went out, not sure where it went out to but it isn’t working.  It still wasn’t working when we went to bed, what a bummer….well, guess it is Night Y’all…

We were supposed to get rain but there aren’t any clouds in the sky!  Guess we will have to put up with some more sunny warm days.

I procrastinated writing my blog and now I am having a problem remembering what we did today.  Linda can’t remember either, must be catching.

I actually don’t think we did much today.  I have been trying to figure out how to fix some of the things that need to be done.  The tub needs to be redone.  I can’t stand up in the bath tub to take a shower so I would like to put a shower base in and take the tub out.  Well, the tub is really an odd size and the stool is right next to the tub so it can’t be any wider and if I remember right it is only 24 inches wide, not normal for sure.  We need to check a few places that sell RV and mobile home parts.  I did see a tank less water heater from Camping World that I think may work in here.  This water heater seems to have a little problem.  Runs out of hot water in about five minutes and it actually isn’t very hot.

We are just taking it easy tonight, watching a little TV and going to bed, I can sleep pretty good in the new rocking chair.  It is really nice.

I had a headache this morning and really didn’t feel like getting up, stayed in bed until 6:15AM.   Got Linda up so we could go to church.  She didn’t want to get up either.  Rough night last night.

We went to Mission First Baptist Church again today.  Had good services.

Got a pretty decent picture of Pastor Adrian today, he stayed still enough for a picture.

We came home, had some lunch and went to bed for a nap. Going to be a pretty quiet day.  Sat out in the screen room for quite awhile.  It was a beautiful day, the sun came out and warmed up to a comfortable 72 degrees!!  Love it!

Just going to take it easy today and rest up for a real exciting day tomorrow.  Probably won’t do anything tomorrow either but we need the rest and relaxation.   Night y’all…

It is still cloudy today and still pretty cool.  We don’t have a lot planned for today, except for tonight and we are going to go to a dance tonight.

It is cool in our house and I need to bake something to warm it up.  We have a box of cookie mix called “Whoopee Cookies.  They only took about ten minutes to bake but it sure did warm it up in here!

Sparky and I took a few walks and got our exercise.

Took a nap this afternoon getting ready for tonight.

We left here around 5:30 PM and headed to Llano RV Park about forty miles from here.  Joe and Mary, Don and Cheryl and us.  We had a good time.  The Renaissance Rockers, we have seen them a couple of times before and they are really good.

The lead singer with the hat and glasses is a brain surgeon.  They do a very good job with the singing also.

We got home around 11PM and we were sure ready for bed.  That was a lot of exercise!

We got rain last night and is still sprinkling a little bit…

We got a nice rain, I think about an inch or more!  They really need the rain here.  It is cool this morning but not really raining.

Went to Home Depot to check on a shower for our place.  They don’t have anything that would fit.  We didn’t stay here very long, they really didn’t have anything that I needed, or at least I didn’t see anything. 

We left there  and stopped at Leo’s, a gas station, for some chicken and Linda got a burrito.  She also got a jalapeno pepper, they said they were hot.  It actually was HOT!  She put the whole thing on her burrito and she was close to crying when she was done.  She liked it!

Took a short nap this afternoon and stayed home the rest of the day and watched TV the rest of the time until bed time.  Night Y’all….

This is Thanksgiving Day!  I posted my thanks yesterday because I knew that I would post this late, actually tomorrow…

Linda fixed a potato casserole to take to the get together at the club house. I think there was a pretty good turnout.  We had a good time and lots of food.  Janice, from Canada, brought rutabaga that I tried and I liked it. I thought it tasted like cauliflower.  I love cauliflower!  I brought some home for later.

We took it easy the rest of the day, didn’t do much, tried to take a nap but I think I was just to full to sleep.  A very nice and very warm day.  Supposed to cool off tomorrow and rain. We really need the rain!

Lots of things to do today.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day and I was thinking of all the things we are thankful for… good friends, nice warm weather, good health, our wants are met not just our needs, but most of all I thank God for our Salvation!!! I know this is just a temporary home and we are just a passing through!!  God is good, I think especially good to us!  I want to thank Him for everything He has allowed us to do.

Some of the things we have gotten…

Bet you can’t guess what we are watching on Linda’s new TV, OK, you’re right, it’s Jeopardy.  No?  Oh well, it is TV anyway.

We bought a fan so we wouldn’t have to run the air conditioner and it has worked out just perfect.  The fan keeps it just comfortable in here.

I’ve been checking out places in our new place here (actually about 30 years old) and have found the bottom of the tub is about eight inches off the floor and that is why I can’t stand up straight in it.  If I can lower it about four or five inches it will be perfect.  The floor under the tub is bad so I will probably replace it and with all the other spots that are soft I may have a major renovation going on but maybe when it is done it will be the way I like it, or we like it, Linda doesn’t have a problem standing in the tub just getting in is a big problem. 

I think my computer is going to shut off so I am going to close  and say Night Y’all and have a great Thanksgiving Day and think about what you are thankful for OK?
