Still hot today, well, this morning is nice but it is going to warm up.

Church and Sunday School were good this morning.  Shiela had the special music this morning.  She is really talented.  Pastor preached on the Trinity today.  Can’t really understand it, guess it is one of the things we have to accept on faith.  He did use a lot of scripture to prove it though.

I fixed some lunch.  Linda can’t eat anything that you have to chew very much.  Her teeth are giving her fits.  I fixed some macaroni.  Not sure what you would call it but I did add cheese and broccoli…  Got to have our veggies you know..

Actually it was quite tasty even though a lot of people don’t like broccoli.  I do, Linda doesn’t.  She wouldn’t eat the broccoli so I got all of it, not at one meal though.

Tonight Debbie sang.  She is an excellent singer also.  I took pictures but they are too blurry to put in here.

Not much going on tonight.  Take it easy and relax…Night Y’all…

Saturday May 5th 2012

It is warm this morning already, not uncomfortable but still warm.

I started looking on the computer for a rocker recliner.  We went to the furniture stores but didn’t see anything I liked.  Well, I checked Wal Mart and they have a pretty good selection of chairs.  I found one I liked and Linda looked at the reviews on another one.  I think she read reviews for about a half hour and the one she picked out seemed like one everyone liked so I ordered it.  I think it should be at the store in a couple of weeks. That was about our extent of interesting stuff today.

I went to work this afternoon, did all my cleaning etc and then worked on my Sudoku book.  That is pretty boring also.

I took the golf cart over to the mobile home park and took a picture of some really nice looking flowers.  The lilies are like the ones I planted I think and ours has the buds but haven’t bloomed yet…

I think I should probably do some landscaping like this.  They really have a nice looking flower bed!

Work.  Boring!  I thought that I would work the whole day without a camper coming in for the night but I was wrong!  At quitting time a camper came in and they weren’t really in any hurry!  I had all my book work done so I had to do that over again after I got them parked.  Oh well, still wasn’t to bad, got out at 7:07PM or near there.

Tonight was another night that I played games on the computer and watched a little TV.  Not a lot on TV tonight.  Well, time to say Night Y’all…

Friday May 4th 2012

Beautiful morning, perfect for sitting outside and doing my reading and letting Sparky do his thing with his friends Bud and Scruffy.

When Linda got up I figured we needed to put up Dee’s new tent to make sure it was OK and all the parts were there.  Took awhile..

I’m not sure if you can tell by the picture but the wind is blowing pretty hard and it sure was hard putting the tent up but we succeeded! This stuff is almost like parachute material and it sure catches the wind!

We took it back down and put it in the bag and I’m sure glad the bag was pretty big because we had a terrible time folding it back up and getting it into the bag again!

Back to work again this afternoon.  Wow!  Boring today!  This would have been a pretty good day to close the office, well, maybe not, we did have people come in to pay rent etc.  I made it through the day and was glad to be going home.  It got pretty warm today, about 90 I think.

Watched a little TV and played a game on the computer. Not much else to say…so…Night Yall….

It is cloudy this morning again and the temperature is a little cool.  On the way to work I was wishing that maybe I should have brought my light sweater.  I guess I will be OK though.

I’m going to mow Russell Street this morning.  Mark says he needs the truck this afternoon.  OK with me.  It wasn’t to bad over there but some spots had really tall grass.  Looked a lot better when I finished.

This afternoon I sprayed Roundup, picked up trash, used the weed eater and dumped the trash barrels.  It did get warm this afternoon.

I called Linda before coming home and asked if she still wanted to go look at a recliner.  Guess we will.  They are supposed to have a “real special sale” this afternoon.  They did drop their prices but didn’t see anything I liked.  I think I will keep on looking.

We had taco salad for supper. That really hit the spot!

Watched some of our favorite TV programs tonight.  I think “Person of Interest” is my favorite show.

Another beautiful day, no rain though and we could really use a good soaker!  Guess it will come sometime.

Hasn’t been a real exciting day but I did get some things accomplished at work.  There was a small fire and I had to clean it up.  Save some boards and the rest went into the dumpster.

I picked up some string for the weed eater and this is a Stihl  and it is different.  I asked the guy at the store how to load the string and he explained that since I have it apart already to put it back together and stick the string in the holes then turn the button on the bottom and it winds the string on the inside!!!  Amazing!  I did it and then I used the weed eater and it works great.

I am tired today, been tired all day though.  I asked Linda about supper and she didn’t have any plans so I figured it was a nice day and maybe I could grill out!  I stopped at Aldi’s and got the things I needed and when I got home I had to clean the grill but by the time it was ready Linda had the burgers ready and I grilled them.  They turned out quite nice if I do say so myself, but then, no one else would know would they??

I figured I would fall asleep tonight watching TV but I did pretty good.  I played a game on the computer and I almost fell asleep doing that.

The mornings are really nice.  It is kind of cool out and the wind is blowing but the temperature is just about perfect.  I open the house up and air it out until about 7AM then I have to close it up because it starts getting warm.  I figured we would put the new tent up today but Linda says it’s to windy.  Oh well, maybe another day.

I started digging around another stump.  I will burn some on this but I think that I will plant hollyhock or something around it to hide it until it decays. I like hollyhock.

I just noticed this morning that some lilies that I planted last year finally came up this year and I think one has buds!

They look like buds to me!

Work the office this afternoon.  At least it was busier than last Saturday. I kept kind of busy  Mark’s mother, Mary Lou, planted more flowers today. Guess she will plant a few at a time until they are all planted,

Well, it got hot today, didn’t break a record but came close.  On the way home the temperature outside was 89.  I don’t think it feels to bad, I didn’t run the air in the car, a little warm but not bad.

Not to much happening tonight, just another night, when I get off at 7PM the night is pretty short anyway.   Night Y’all…

Monday April 30th 2012

The last day of April, not many April showers for sure.  Hope we get the May flowers!

I have today off so I will do a couple of odd jobs around the house.  There is a row of bushes that need to be trimmed.  I have a really hard time mowing around them, I’m getting tired of getting scratched! 

It is getting warm out and I hear the air conditioner running.  I am almost finished with the trimming.  I think I have enough off now so I can mow around the bushes.

This is going to be a slow day.  I asked Linda if she wanted to go visit Cuma, the lady we bought our place from, because I haven’t seen her at church since we have been back.  I saw Cuma’s sister and asked her about Cuma and she said she just wasn’t feeling very well.  Linda didn’t want to go out so I called her and talked to her for awhile and she is feeling better just not up to par.  Sure hope she gets to feeling better.

Today is so slow I have gotten the computer out and played games most of the afternoon and evening.
